Ministers Reject Knesset Approval for Talks on J'lem

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation rejected, Sunday, a bill by Member of Knesset Miri Regev (Likud Beytenu) that would have required Knesset approval for the government to negotiate with the Palestinian Authority on changes in the boundaries of Jerusalem or bringing back Arabs who left Israel when the modern Jewish state was established and their families.

The only ministers voting in favor of the proposal were Uri Ariel and Uri Orbach (Jewish Home/Bayit Yehudi). The others voted against.
