The pound sterling was set at 5.7534 shekels, down .212 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .147 percent to NIS 3.3318. The Australian dollar edged up .026 percent to NIS 3.1108, while its Canadian counterpart was fixed at 3.2242 shekels, down .077 percent. The Swedish krona advanced .525 percent to .5363 shekels, and the South African rand was fixed at NIS .3243, up .031 percent.
