Traffic Light in Beit Hilkiyah in Three Months

The Knesset State Control Committee heard Transportation Ministry CEO Uzi Yitzchaki on Tuesday, "Recently, thousands of small towns across Israel have found themselves positioned right beside rushing busy highways, due to interchange refurbishment operations in their area. Local pedestrians have to cross these dangerous thoroughfares, and we have made provisions for them in the form of bridge walkways for their benefit. The bridge option at Beit Hilkiyah junction will be the best for pedestrians, but under the circumstances, due to the lengthy time of its construction, it has been decided to install a traffic light with pedestrian crossings instead."
