Two Palestinian Authority residents were given refuge, Monday evening, when they came to the entrance of the Samarian Jewish community of Beit Aryeh. The two claimed they were pursued by PA security forces bent on eliminating them.
After a security check, the Arabs were allowed in. A search of the area around the community led to four Arabs who identified them selves as members of the PA's special forces. A search of their vehicle produce loaded weapons, in violation of regulations for their travels among Jewish comunities of the region. Local council leader Avi Na'im said he has never seen anything like it and hoped it was not a sign of things to come, noting that there were good relations with the neighboring Arab village of Luban.
