First International Bank Sanctions to Spread Wednesday

The 300 investment counselors of the First International Bank of Israel (FIBI-Habank Habeinleumi Harishon) and its hareidi-religious Bank Po'alei Agudat Yisrael will go on strike, Wednesday and Thursday. In doing so, they will be joining members of the mortgage staff, who have been on strike for four weeks.

Chairman Hanoch Livneh of the bank's worker organization said the workers and the customers are paying the price of what he called management's insensitivity.
