      Railway Workers Start Sanctions

Employees of Israel Railways started sanctions, Tuesday, in response to what they called management's violation of agreements. Under the sanctions, conductors are not inspecting tickets and the maintenance staff for the rolling stock is minimal.

The workers' committee stressed that the trains are running on schedule and the public will not be adversely affected.
