New Highway Entrance to Jerusalem Planned

As Jerusalem, and the rest of Israel continue so grow, so does the highway system. On Monday, Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz (Likud-Beytenu) said a plan for a Highway 16 interchange at the Western entrance to Jerusalem was submitted for government approval. He said the new road would reduce traffic congestion, improve service and safety for motorists and reduce air pollution.
