Hospital Manager: Risk to Sharon's Life May Have Risen

Professor Ze'ev Rothstein, the manager of the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, east of Tel Aviv, said, Monday morning, that the symptoms of former prime minister Ariel Sharon had not changed from Sunday to Monday: His heartbeat and blood pressure were stable, and there was deterioration in the functioning of his vital organs.

Rothstein concluded, "I'm not a man of such big news today as far as his condition is concerned. Another day has passed and the situation is clear to all. The risk to his life has not diminished and may have even increased."
