Kerry Meets Netanyahu, Ya'alon and Livni
Secretary of State John Kerry of the United States pushed a framework for Middle East peace talks during a Thursday evening meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, launching what is expected to be an intense four days of shuttle diplomacy between Israeli and Palestinian Authority (PA) leaders, according to Agence France Press. Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, who is the chief negotiator with the Palestinians, joined the talks, according to Israeli media.
The top US diplomat will be meeting with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman on Friday before heading to Ramallah for talks with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
