United Press International reports a rocket struck a bus in Aleppo, Syria, Tuesday, killing at least 25 people.
The Aleppo Media Center said the attack was carried out by government forces from the al-Nayrab military airbase, says UPI.
The fire and wreckage made it difficult to determine the exact number of casualties.
UPI adds the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition group in London, said in a post on its Facebook page Tuesday it has documented that 130,433 people have been killed since the Syrian civil war began in with protests in March 2011. The group said the death toll included 46,266 civilians, of whom 7,014 were children and 4,695 were women.
