Indian Express reports bad weather, shifting scenes of battle and inaccessible roads have delayed the transportation of chemical weapons from the 12 governmental facilities to the port of Latakia, where Norwegian and Danish fleets are waiting to take them to Italy.
Russian-equipped trucks are carrying the chemical weapons and other related substances through the Syrian terrain under the supervision of American satellites and Chinese cameras, adds Indian Express.
The operation has an international character, explains Indian Express. In addition to the joint and coordinated operations in Syria, the Danish and Norwegian fleets will take the weapons to Italy, where they will taken over by the US ships. The weapons will then be destroyed in international waters.
