Snowstorm Won't Warrant Special Inquiry

Despite the massive damage caused by the snow storm last week, the Knesset voted not to hold a special commission of inquiry. Member of Knesset Isaac Herzog (Labor) called it a failure of the government to prepare for and act during the storm, but Gilad Erden who serves as Home Front Defense Minister rejected his accusations. The final vote was 37 MKs against establishing an inquiry, 31 in support, and one abstention.
