Dozens of residents of the settlement of Adam demonstrated tonight ( Tuesday ) near the town junction to protest the abandonment of security in the place, following the attack that happened Monday night nearby, when a policeman was stabbed.
Binyamin Council Chairman Avi Roeh participated in the demonstration and said that "We are calling from here to the Israeli government and Prime Minister to come to their senses and defeat terrorism, this situation must not continue . It is incumbent upon the Israeli government to restore security to the residents." Roeh recited Psalms for the health of the policeman who was wounded and called to stop the negotiations with the Palestinians.
MK Yoni Chetboun ( Jewish Home ) participated in the demonstration and said that "the Palestinians have realized that they can not defeat us with an outright Intifada. As a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, I say we are witnessing a new phenomenon of intermittent terrorism so as not to trigger a massive Israeli retaliation."
Large security forces protected the demonstrators. A Surveillance camera was installed to secure the junction.
