Security Alert Amid Concern of More Attacks

As police continued the hunt for the terror cell which placed a bomb on a bus in the southern Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam, Sunday, officers deployed in the central region, Monday morning, out of concern that the incident was the first in a series of terrorist acts that could follow in the coming days. Police believe at least two terrorists were involved and a large infrastructure paved the way for the Bat Yam attack.

The defense establishment has accumulated intelligence that there are terror cells directed from Hamas-ruled Gaza that are preparing explosive devices in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria). The police renewed Sunday's call to the public to be alert and report anything suspicious.
