The Histadrut labor federation and the management of the Ashdod port on Friday afternoon reached understandings that will bring an the end to the workers' strike which began earlier in the day.
As part of the understandings, the management agreed to cancel the firings of two union who refused to wear a yellow safety vest. The employees agreed to return to work full-time starting on Saturday night.
