Tourism Minister Uzi Landau (Likud Beytenu) rejected on Thursday any plans to divide the land of Israel as part of an agreement with the Palestinian Authority.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new visitors' center at the Susiya national heritage site, Landau said, “Over the past 20 years, some among us have said that we are ‘occupiers’, so what do we expect from others? If someone shouts 'thief!' and you run away, everyone will point at you and say 'you're a thief’.”
He added, "The behavior should be exactly the opposite: This is our land! This is our homeland! We are building in it and not paying attention to anything else.”
