Hundreds of students attending the Bnei Tzvi Torah Academy in Beit El remained to learn Torah, even during the stormy weather .
Students remained despite the power failure and lack of water, and held special Shabbat services with small flashlights and great joy.
The Yeshiva reports that the students learned firsthand about experiencing dedication to Torah study, "Students were faced with prolonged outages and interruptions of water supply. On Friday when they learned that the food supplies were meager, the students prepared themselves some Challahs and helped make the Sabbath dishes".
Shabbat prayers and feasts were held by candlelight "With a unique atmosphere of spiritual elevation and dedicated friendship."
