The traffic police announced the following road closings, Monday morning:
Jerusalem: The Highway 60 tunnels at the southern end of the city were closed in both directions. Route 443 was closed from Atarot to the south. Motorists wanting to go into the capital were advised to take Route 436 via Giv'at Ze'ev. Highway 443 was open toward the east, but not within the Opher Prison Camp toward Route 45. Highway 1 in the area of the Az-Za'im checkpoint was closed because of the danger of skipping.
Tzfat (Safed): The Route 8900 entrance to the city was closed in both directions.
The Hussan Bypass of Highway 375 was closed in both directions because of the accumulation of ice and the danger of skidding.
The Tze'elim Bridge of Route 234 was closed in both directions because the Besor River was flooded.
