      Report: 200 IEC Workers Take 'Storm Break'

      Thousands of households are still without electricity, with electrical lines downed in many areas due to heavy snowfall in one of the biggest winter storms in Israel's history. Dedicated staff of the Israeli Electric Company have been working night and day for three days straight to restore power – most of them, that is.

      For about 200 of the company's electrical engineers, the current electrical emergency is someone else's problem. That's because they are at a seminar in sunny Eilat, mixing discussions on technical issues with fun in the warm sun, Channel Two reported Sunday night.
