Pakistan Tribune reports the wait of more than a century eventually ended as snow blanketed Cairo suburbs on Friday.
The snowfall, first in Cairo in 112 years, spurred people to come out of their homes to have some fun. They also exercised road safety as drivers maneuvered in the snow.
Kids made snowmen and snow angels under the shade of umbrellas their parents held. Energized adults threw snow at each others as everyone strived to leave no stone unturned to amass utmost benefits of the snow day, says Pakistan Tribune.
