Likud Indifferent to Yesh Atid Coalition Threats

Finance Minister Yair Lapid recently stated that the peace agreement proposed by Secretary Kerry should be accepted by the government even at the expense of the resignation of the Jewish Home (Bayit Yehudi).

Coalition Chairman MK Yariv Levin (Likud Beytenu) responded, "Yesh Atid does not make coalition decisions, and should not be so quick to assess its restructuring. The Kerry proposal is not acceptable to most of Likud-Beytenu, and therefore discussions of who might resign from the coalition are premature. Yesh Atid is welcome to resign, but cannot decide who else might choose to do so."
