The world's tallest menorah was lit in a special ceremony on Wednesday, the final night of Chanukah. Speaking at the candle light were Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy & Water Silvan Shalom, the Chairman of the Israel Electric Company General (Res.) Yiftah Ron-Tal, and the Director of the Ministry of Energy Orna Hozman-Bechor. Among those lighting the giant candles were terrorist attack survivors.
The menorah will remain lit until midnight and light up the skies of Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan region.
