Police Justify Electroshocking in Arrest of Boaz Albert

The State Attorney's Office and Police Investigations Department on Tuesday concluded its investigation of the highly publicized electroshocking of Yitzhar farmer Boaz Albert in his home. Police denied that the use of the electroshock weapon, known commonly by the brand name Taser, was unreasonable and stated that Albert resisted arrest and attempted to flee to his greenhouse while his family called for help. The arrest took place after Albert returned to his house despite a restraining order imposed on him following pro-Judea and Samaria activism.
