Life Plus 20 Years for Murderer of Evyatar Borovsky

The Shomron (Samaria) Military Court sentenced Salam Al-Ghazal of Tulkarm, this week, to life plus 20 years in prison for April 30th stabbing death of 31-year-old father of five Evyatar Borovsky at the Tapuah Junction. Referring to Israeli and Palestinian Authority benefits to security prisoners, Tuesday, Borovsky's widow, Tzofiah, repeated her call for the death penalty from the time of Al-Ghazal's conviction in July, explaining, I would not be surprised if, in a few more years this despicable murderer will circulate freely, with a bloated bank account and an academic degree in hand."

The community of Yitzhar released a statement that said, "We welcome the court's decision to imprison the abominable murderer for many years , however unfortunately experience shows otherwise. The Israeli government's trend of releasing terrorists makes these rulings ridiculous and unreliable."
