MK Shmuli: Lapid Wants to Play Robinhood

MK Itzik Shmuli (Labor) had what to say in response to Finance Minister Yair Lapid’s announcement at the press conference he held this evening (Monday).

“We are all very pleased to pay less taxes, however, the fact that Israel’s Finance Minister’s decisions are as 'stable as a compass' (sic) should be of concern to us all,” the MK stated.

“It has only been four months since he passed such a budget so cruel and unreasonable that it would harm both the working man the already poverty-stricken, but today turns out that all that anxiety was for nothing – the Minister simply wants to play ‘Robinhood’, Shmuli added.
