Shoval: The Americans Will Ease Up on Iran Sanctions

Former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Zalman Shoval expressed concern over the direction the US was taking vis-a-vis the sensitive issue of Iran.

"What is of particular concern is that the Americans are likely to ease the sanctions," Shoval said. "The agreement achieved in Geneva is a very faulty one, and could have turned out even worse without the vigorous diplomatic efforts of the Prime Minister over these past days and weeks," he added.

"One of the aspects of the agreement that makes it such a bad one is that it leaves too much open to different and contradictory interpretations -- to Iranian interpretation."
