Herzog: Prime Minister Causing Unneeded Panic on Iran


Newly-elected Chairman Yitzhak Herzog of the Labor party criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Monday morning, for his handling of the agreement between Iran and six Western powers on the Tehran government's nuclear development program. Interviewed by Channel 10 Television, Herzog said, "It's just an interim agreement. Judgment day has not come."

Regarding Netanyahu's relationship with President Barack Obama of the United States, Herzog said, "At this stage, intimacy is needed between Netanyahu and Obama and instead there are slaps in the face and a total lack of trust."
