Former Mossad Chief Not So Worried About Iran Agreement

Former Mossad Chief Efraim Halevy does not have the same doomsday outlook as Netanyahu and most of the other ministers regarding the agreement signed between Iran and the six world powers.

His view is that because of the increased monitoring, Iran will not be able to continue as it pleases, but that should they be caught doing anything on the sly, the agreement would be considered null and void.

In an interview with Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) Halevy said, "It was naive to think that the Iranians would cede on the issue of dismantling their centrifuges the first time around.  But we must also remember that now there will be inspectors there on a day-to-day basis monitoring the situation."
