Final Labor Turnout: 53 Percent


Polls closed at 10:00, Thursday evening, in the Labor party primary election to determine the party's leader and candidate for prime minister in the next general election.

The party said 52.73 percent of its eligible voters took part in the balloting. The results will be announced later in the battle between incumbent Shelly Yechimovich and challenger Yitzhak Herzog.
