DNA of Paris Shooting Suspect Matches Paris Crime Scene

Based on DNA evidence, French authorities have arrested a man thought to be the gunman who shot and critically injured a young man at the newspaper Liberation during a three-day shooting spree across Paris.

The suspect, Abdelhakim Dekhar, had been convicted in 1998 for his involvement in a high-profile robbery and car chase which left three police officers and one taxi driver dead.  Dekhar served four years in prison, but afterwards fell off the grid.

Dekhar apparently tried to commit suicide before being arrested Wednesday,
