Aharonovich: Revisit Terrorist Family Visitation Rights

Minister of Interior Security, MK YItzhak Aharonovich they will be thoroughly revisiting the topic of family visitation rights of Arab security prisoners in Israeli prisons, following the suspected planning of the murder an Israeli soldier within the prison walls.

While speaking before the Knesset plenum, the Minister said that in light of the murder of IDF soldier Tomer Hazan being planned in the prison itself, a full review into the situation was called for and that a system overhaul has to take place.

MK Moti Yogev (Jewish Home), in his speech before the Knesset said, "The murder of IDF soldier Tomer Hazan was planned right in the prison itself, and this means we are obligated to carry out a serious house cleaning. This is a result of our signing agreements with murderers. It is like mice signing a contract with the cats to look after the milk."

"This means we must immediately remove the plethora of special benefits that these terrorists receive and that they exploit to promote further acts of terrorism," he added.

It recently has come to light that Hazan's murderer, Nadal Amar, had communicated his murderous plans in a coded letter to his imprisoned brother via a letter he sent in to a PA TV show which was read on the air and revealed what he had been planning.
