Teheran Jews Protest in Favor of Iran Nuclear Program

Iranian Jews held a demonstration yesterday (Wednesday) across from the UN headquarters in Teheran, showing their support of the Iranian nuclear program.

The protesters held up signs proclaiming Iran's legitimate entitlement to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes in three different languages: Farsi (Persian), English and Hebrew. The Jews also expressed support of Iran's spiritual leader, the Ayatolla Ali Khamenei, who issued a fatwa (a legal judgment in Muslim law) stating that nuclear weapons constituted a grave moral and religious sin.
