Honoring Our Wounded Vets

Although the law has not yet been passed,  an official day honoring wounded IDF soldiers  has already been noted in the Legislature, and a public campaign will kick off tomorrow.

The event held in the Knesset today (Tuesday) in appreciation for those who were wounded or disabled defending Israel was originally initiated by the “Bnei Akiva” youth movement.  In attendance at the event were Chief Rabbi David Lau, Members of the Knesset, the General Director of Youth Movements, representatives of ‘Beit Halohem’ (a veteran’s organization),and some of the disabled and wounded vets with their families.
