New Gaza Lion Cubs Named for Hamas Missile, Israeli War

The Hamas-controlled authorities of the Gaza Strip announced today (Tuesday) the birth of two lion cubs.  The male and female cubs, born Monday, were named in honor of the ongoing battle between the Islamists and Israel, according to a report by AFP.

The cubs, born  less than a week after the first anniversary of the 2012 war, have been named ‘Fajr’ (Arabic for ‘dawn’), after the missiles Hamas fired at Israel in November of 2012, and ‘Sijil’ (Arabic for ‘clay’), the name the Gaza terrorists gave to the 2012 “Operation Pillar of Defense”.

The armed wing of Hamas, the Ezzedine and al-Qasam Brigades, congratulated themselves on having smuggled the cubs’ parents in from Egypt four years ago.
