A 50-year-old resident of the Palestinian Authority was arrested on Monday night and accused of hiding a bulletproof vest and ammunition cartridges in his home. The arrest was carried out in Sa'ir, a PA community located in Area B of Judea, which is jointly PA and Israeli controlled. The suspect was questioned by security personnel.
According to the Palestine Exploration Fund's Survey of Western Palestine, which toured Israel from 1872–1877, Sa'ir is the site of the ancient tomb of Esau. Sir Charles Wilson, for whom Wilson's Arch in Jerusalem is named, took part in the expedition.
