Steinitz: US and Israel Don't See Eye-to-Eye on Iran

MInister of Intelligence Yuval Steinitz stated that there is a pronounced difference in the way that Israel and the United States assess the economic impact of easing up on the sanctions against Iran due to the fact that the US looks at the next six months, whereas Israel is looking at the entire year.

In a statement to Reshet Bet (radio), Steinitz maintained that despite the fierce debate, the US and Israel have very good relations, adding that he had full confidence in the Obama administration.

However, Steinitz warned that entering into a disasterous agreement that does eliminate the problem could very possibly lead to a need to turn to other means.
