Dankner Likely to Maintain Control of IDB

The likelihood is increasing that Nohi Dankner will maintain control of the IDB Group following the opinion submitted by court-appointed expert Eyal Gabai to Judge Eitan Orenstein regarding which of three of the proposals set out represents the best value for IDB bondholders.

Dankner has been fighting to maintain control of IDB, which has been struggling under the weight of more than NIS 8 billion of debt.

The report shows that the Group, headed by Alexander Granovsky and Nochi Dankner, “presently provides the safest  arrangement in the amount of NIS 624 million, of which NIS 528 million is being held in trust.”
