Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar is set to approve the new bill to prevent illegal infiltration on Sunday. The bill is designed to prevent the entry of new illegal infiltrators into Israel's borders and deal with illegal infiltrators already residing in Israel. The bill will allow for such illegals to be held for one year in a special halfway house. It will also allow for the enforcing of the prohibition of employing illegal migrant workers. The government determined that most of such illegals are migrant workers looking for cheep labor jobs and very few are legitimate refugees from war-torn areas.
