Israel Signs Travel/Work Agreement with South Korea

Deputy Foreign Minister Ze'ev Elkin this morning (Wednesday) signed an agreement with his South Korean counterpart that will allow citizens of each countriy to combine  travel with employment.  It is the first agreement of its kind between Israel and an East Asian country.

During the course of the meeting, MK Elkin said, "South Korea and Israel both share the onus of being under nuclear threat. The international community needs to learn from what happened with North Korea that it is better not to sign any agreement to sign a bad agreement."
