Zachy (Zakiel) Choory and his wife Na’ama survived an attack on Friday when a firebomb was thrown at their car by terrorists. On Monday Choory returned to the scene to retrieve his tefilin, ritual headband and armband for use in prayer services. The car was destroyed and the tefilin were seriously damaged. Choory is recovering from light burns and his wife is recovering from moderate burns.
