Employees of Israel Military Industries (IMI) have announced that starting today (Sunday), sanctions would be set in place against the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance following the delay payment of wages to 3,400 workers.
IMI's Chairman of the Workers Committee, Itzik Yehuda stated simply and clearly, "Employees who work receive their salaries. Period!"
" IMI rmployees are being held hostage in the battles between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance. During the privatization process, the employees conceded much, adn were left with nothing to lose. How does the saying go...'the sheep are caught between the shepherd and the wolf', he commented.
