Abe Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) commented this weekend, following announcement of an upcoming agreement, that Teheran was not to be trusted.
"The good news is that Israel and the U.S., along with other countries, have a common goal in preventing Iran from becoming a viable nuclear entity; the problem right now is in ironing out the details," Foxman said. " I think that what is currently on the table in Geneva is an exercise in misdirection. The Iranians are con artists, take pride in this, and so cannot be trusted," he continued.
"The tension between Israel and the U.S. is because Americans are willing to try and see what happens, whereas Iran needs to show us by their actions, not just their words, the seriousness of its intentions," Foxman added.
