The pound sterling was set at 5.6889 shekels, up .102 percent, while 100 Japanese yen rose .502 percent to NIS 3.6018. The Australian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.3449, down .384 percent, while its Canadian counterpart slumped .545 percent to 3.3786 shekels. The South African rand was fixed at .344 shekels, down .203 percent, and the Norwegian krone lost 1.217 percent to NIS .5845.
