Member of Knesset Motti Yogev (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) rejected, Friday morning, Thursday's threat by Secretary of State John Kerry of the United States that failure in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) would result in a third intifada Arab uprising. He said Kerry went too far and expressed, almost verbatim, the PA position.
Speaking in Hebrew, following a firebomb attack in the Gush Etzion bloc of Judean Jewish communities, Yogev said, "Thanks to Kerry's words about a third intifada, a woman and her three children were almost burned this morning in Gush Etzion by his Palestinian friends." He added, "John Kerry, in Hebrew we say 'You are not a fair mediator.' He concluded, "In English, we say 'John Kerry go home.'."
