Member of Knesset Avi Wortzman (Bayit Yehudi) expressed pride in the state of Jewish education following a trip to New York for the annual Chabad-Lubavitch conference. He told Arutz Sheva news "I met thousands of delegates at the conference... it was amazing to see the commitment to Torah and mitzvot." He also visited American Jewish private schools with Israeli philanthropist Lev Leviev. "There is no doubt it connects world Jewry with our country... and gives people a sense of belonging," he added. The Chabad-Lubavich International Conference of Shluchim and Shluchos was held in New York last week.
