Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski is scheduled to begin an official visit to Israel, Monday morning, at the invitation of President Shim'on Peres. The two men will hold a diplomatic work meeting during which they will discuss the situation in the Middle East, the Iranian nuclear threat, negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, as well as strengthening bilateral strategic and economic relations.
Following an early-afternoon meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Komorowski will be rejoined by President Peres on an official visit to the Hall of Remembrance at Yad Vashem. Komorowski will be the guest of honor at a state dinner which will be attended by prominent figures from Israel and Poland. On Wednesday, he is scheduled to attend the binational Economic and Business Cooperation Forum in Tel Aviv.
