NYT: NSA Spying Also Targeted Israel

The New York Times has reported, based on papers made available by former intelligence officer Edward Snowden, that the NSA's spying activities included the Israeli military as a priority target.

Research by the newspaper indicated that the U.S. intelligence agency, which collaborated with Israel's Unit 8200 (the Israeli Intelligence Corps unit responsible for collecting signal intelligence (SIGINT) and code decryption) also monitored Israeli military targets, including UAV's (drones) and the "Black Sparrow" missile system produced by Rafael.
