More than 2,500 people, comprised of Jews from every level of Torah observance, gathered together to pray last night at Joseph's Tomb in Shechem, by special permit on the occasion of the upcoming "Rosh Chodesh" (the New Month) Kislev, which arrives this coming Sunday.
Security was provided by the combined efforts of the IDF together with the Shomron (Samaria) Regional Council, and the association, "One Shechem".
Among the special guests who attended were the Tolner Rebbe, together with some of his hasidim, as well as the Lelover Rebbe, accompanied by a number of his hasidim. The Lelover Rebbe, from Beit Shemesh, heads the largest hasidic community in the hareidi sector.
Other notable attendees included Gershon Mesika of the Samarian Regional Council and his deputy, Yosi Dagan, as well as Judea and Samaria Division Commander Brigadier General Tamir Yadai, and the Rav of Barcelona.\
