David Amsellem, who was placed in the number two spot on the Likud-Beytenu's municipal election list in Jerusalem after Moshe Lion, expressed his disappointment on Friday over Lion's loss in the mayoral election. It should be noted that the Likud-Beytenu list received only one seat on City Council, meaning only Lion was elected and Amsellem will be out.
Amsellem clarified that, despite the disappointment, he believes the last word has yet to be spoken. "We are strong enough to get out of this place and build a new infrastructure that will place us in where we deserve," he said.
