Fair skies are predicted through Thursday with above-average temperatures and relatively low humidity. There's a high-wave warning at Mediterranean beaches until 10:00 a.m. with a high fire index from the northern border to the northern Negev from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Northerly winds up to 50 kilometers/30 miles an hour are expected Monday afternoon along the Mediterranean coast with easterly winds up to 30 kilometers/19 miles an hour expected in the mountains during the evening hours. The strong afternoon winds are forecast to return on Tuesday. On Wednesday the temperature will drop in the coastal plain and northern Negev, with slight additional cooling expected on Thursday.
